Siri Ported To iPhone 4 Already!
After the launch of iPhone 4S, there wouldn’t be a single person on the earth that wouldn’t want to witness the feature and boy, talk about iPhone 4 users. Being left out of the Siri feature, iPhone 4 users were pissed. But, the jailbreaking community, now has found a port of Siri from iPhone 4S to iPhone 4.
Yes, you heard it right. Siri has been ported to iPhone 4 by Steven from 9to5mac.com. However, his first attempt wasn’t that successful. It was slow and sluggish. But his next attempt, was, ugh.. mind blowing.
You may notice Siri and the iPhone 4 acting very sluggish in the above video. The issue here is not Siri, but is that a special GPU driver for iPhone 4 is needed; and it is obviously not included in the iPhone 4S binary cache – where the Siri files are located. Also, Siri hasn’t yet been connected to Apple servers, So, you can’t talk to it right now on the iPhone 4 but maybe in near future.
