Semsons Tech
Jewellery Polishing, Cleaning & Finishing Machines
Finishing is where margin is won or lost. A piece that is beautifully cast and perfectly set still gets rejected if the finish is inconsistent across the batch — and hand-polishing every piece to the same standard does not scale.
Semsons Tech supplies the full finishing line: bulk finishing by magnetic, vibratory, barrel and tumbler polishing, precision work on single and double station polishing motors and lapping machines, electro polishing, and the cleaning technologies that sit between stages — ultrasonic, steam, water jet and wet or dry sand blasting.
In this range
Models we supply
Magnetic Polishing Machine
Bulk finishing using magnetic pins — reaches inside detail that bulk media cannot.
Vibrator Polishing Machine
Bulk vibratory finishing for consistent batch results.
Tumbler Polishing Machine
Barrel tumbling for deburring and general bulk finishing.
Single Station Polishing Machine
Bench polishing motor for hand finishing at stage seven.
Double Station Polishing Machine
Two-position polishing motor for higher bench throughput.
Electro Polishing Machine
Electrochemical brightening for final finish at stage nine.
Lapping Machine
Flat surface finishing.
Ultrasonic Machine
Cavitation cleaning. Catalogue shows capacities of 2 L, 3.2 L, 4.5 L, 6.5 L, 10 L and 15 L.
Steam Cleaning Machine
Stainless steel body. High-pressure steam cleaning between stages.
Water Jet Machine
Also used as an auto gypsum cleaner after burnout at stage five.
Sand Blaster (Wet / Dry)
Surface preparation and matte finishing; wet and dry variants.
Filing Table with Dust Collector
Captures precious metal dust at the bench — recovery, not just housekeeping.

Common questions
Written to be useful before you buy, not after.
What is the difference between magnetic and vibratory polishing?
Magnetic polishing uses fine magnetic pins driven by a rotating field. Because the pins are small and highly mobile, they reach into gallery work, under bezels and inside detail that larger media cannot enter — it is a burnishing and cleaning action. Vibratory polishing uses bulk media in a vibrating bowl and is better for general deburring and even surface finishing across a batch. Most production floors run both.
Where does electro polishing fit?
Stage nine — final polishing — alongside magnetic tumbling, vibratory and barrel polishing. It brightens electrochemically rather than mechanically, so it does not round detail the way aggressive mechanical polishing can.
Why do I need a filing table with dust collector?
Because the dust is gold. A dust collector at the filing bench turns what would be swept away into recoverable metal, and keeps precious-metal fines out of the workshop air at the same time.
What cleaning should happen between finishing stages?
Ultrasonic cleaning removes polishing compound from detail and recesses; steam cleaning blows out what ultrasonic loosens; water jet is used after burnout for gypsum removal. Skipping the cleaning steps is the usual reason a final finish looks patchy.
