Still setting by hand?
Most of our customers came to us with a room full of skilled setters and a backlog they could not clear. The machine does not replace craft — it absorbs the repetitive volume so your best hands move to micro setting and finishing.

The range
The right model is decided by throughput, floor space and power supply — not by price alone. Here is the honest comparison.
Planar double worktable, dual rotating axis, four nozzles — built for high-volume production floors.
Eight nozzles across dual heads and dual rotary worktables — the highest-throughput setting machine we build.
The compact entry into automated setting — five-axis linkage in a 135 kg, 711 mm footprint.
The full-size single-station platform, between the Mini Pro and the double-station machines.
Beyond one machine
Setting is stage four of ten. If you are building or upgrading a factory, the stages before and after it decide whether the setting machine ever reaches its rated speed — wax quality upstream, burnout and casting downstream.
Semsons Tech supplies all ten stages: 3D printing and moulding, wax injection, diamond setting, investment and burnout, induction melting and casting, polishing and micro setting, laser welding and marking, final finishing, and measuring instruments.

Semsons Tech is a total solution provider — not a single-machine supplier. One vendor, one service relationship, across the whole floor.
Automated wax/diamond setting machinery spanning compact single-station systems through high-throughput double-station and double-head machines — all built on five-axis motion control, high-end servo drives and high-precision screw guides.
Compact laser marking, laser cutting and jewellery laser processing machines for hallmarking, engraving and precision metal cutting.
Jewellery spot and laser welding equipment featuring micro-welding, pulse ramping, dual display, integrated viewing and in-built chiller cooling.
XRF gold analysis and portable gold-testing equipment for karat verification, purity assay and precious-metal composition analysis.
LCD, DLP and MJM jewellery prototyping and production printers with direct-castable and non-castable resin systems.
IGBT induction melting systems from 1 kg through 20 kg gold capacity, plus induction-based bottom-pouring vacuum casting and wax injection support equipment.
Polishing, lapping, magnetic and vibratory finishing, electro polishing, sand blasting and cleaning systems for jewellery finishing lines.
Gemological instruments, microscopes, testers, scales, gauges, sorting and packaging supplies for diamond and gemstone handling.
Why buyers stay with us
Anyone can sell you a setting machine. What decides your output three years from now is whether someone picks up the phone when a nozzle clogs at 2am before a festival delivery.
Three generations in the diamond and jewellery trade. We are not going anywhere, and neither is your spare-parts supply.
We commission the machine on your floor and train your operators on your wax, your stones and your designs — not on a demo sample.
Catalogue-stated 16+ stores and warehouses and 450+ dealers, with offices in Mumbai and Rajkot and a presence across India.
When the casting machine and the setting machine come from the same supplier, nobody gets to blame the other one.
The operating system on our setting machines is our own. That means we can actually fix it, rather than escalating to a third party abroad.
Catalogue-stated export to 34+ countries, with voltage and support confirmed before we quote.

Answers
Straight answers, with the source figures shown. If something is not in our catalogue, we say so rather than inventing a number.
Ask us something elseIt depends on the model. The Mini Pro single-station machine is catalogue-rated at a maximum of 10,000 stones per hour with 3 suction nozzles. The ST-3D 1000 double-station PRO PLUS and the ST-HDSSM double-head machine are both rated at 18,000–20,000 diamonds per hour, with 4 and 8 nozzles respectively. Note that our printed catalogue also carries a headline claim of "up to 15,000 stones per hour" for the ST-3D 1000 alongside the 18,000–20,000 figure in its parameter table; we publish both source figures rather than quietly reconciling them, and we confirm the exact rating for your wax and stone mix before you order.
Yes. The machines handle channel setting, push setting, micro setting and prong setting, across flat, round, Bali and pendant design types. In practice that covers mangal sutra, necklaces, haaram, chokers, bangles, payals, waist belts, armlets, bracelets, finger rings (vichiya) and para (studded balls) — the full range of Indian jewellery — as well as Western ring and pendant work. Send us your wax samples and we will confirm compatibility against your actual designs before you commit.
Every automatic setting machine in the range is specified at ±0.02 mm spot drilling accuracy. That figure is delivered by an industrial-grade five-axis motion controller, high-end servo drives and high-precision screw guide transmission — the same motion architecture across the Mini Pro, ST-3D 1000 and ST-HDSSM.
A single-station machine such as the Mini Pro works one plate at a time on a five-axis linkage workbench, at up to 10,000 stones per hour, in a 135 kg, 711 × 660 × 736 mm footprint on single-phase 220V. A double-station machine such as the ST-3D 1000 uses a planar double worktable with a double rotating axis, so one station can be loaded while the other is setting. That lifts the rated speed to 18,000–20,000 diamonds per hour, at 850 kg and 950 × 750 × 1400 mm. The ST-HDSSM goes further again with dual heads and 8 nozzles. The practical difference is not just speed — it is how much of the operator's time is spent waiting.
For volume production, automation changes the economics. Our catalogue states that one Mini Pro does approximately the job of 10 workers, and that the ST-3D 1000 and ST-HDSSM each do approximately the job of 15 workers. Beyond headcount, an automatic machine holds ±0.02 mm placement accuracy on the ten-thousandth piece exactly as on the first, which is difficult to sustain manually across a shift. Manual setting still has its place for one-off, highly irregular or repair work. Most of our customers do not replace their setters — they move them onto micro setting and finishing, where skilled hands matter most, and let the machine absorb the repetitive volume.
The ST-HDSSM double station double head machine. It runs 8 suction nozzles across dual flat worktables and dual rotary axis worktables at 18,000–20,000 diamonds per hour, on a 3.5 kW supply at 90 psi (0.6 MPa) working air pressure. If your floor space or power supply is constrained, the ST-3D 1000 delivers the same rated speed from 4 nozzles at 2.5 kW and 80 psi in a narrower 950 mm cabinet.
A stable power supply, clean compressed air and a dry environment. The Mini Pro runs on single-phase 220V 50/60Hz at 1.3 kW; the ST-3D 1000 on AC220V 50Hz at 2.5 kW; the ST-HDSSM on AC220V 50Hz at 3.5 kW. Working air pressure is 80 psi (0.4 MPa) for the Mini Pro and ST-3D 1000, and 90 psi (0.6 MPa) for the ST-HDSSM — which is why a compressor and air dryer sit alongside the setting machine at stage four of a factory build.
